The Super Micro H8DGI is a dual-socket server/workstation motherboard with support for Socket G34 Opteron processors. The H8DGI is the primary support target of the coreboot-fam15 project.
Board Layout
Flashing
External flashing is required. The stock BIOS chip is a 2 MiB SOIC8 located below PCIe slot 2, next to the NVRAM battery.
VGA BIOS
A 64KiB blob is required to use the onboard VGA device. This file can be retrieved from the original BIOS of the motherboard. See https://www.coreboot.org/VGA_support for more details.
